Oregon, OH USA - Thursday, October 13, 2005 at 18:49:47 (CDT)I think you guys are doing an awesome job, if I lived closer I would of loved to see you guys. Thank you so much for the instruction for the tombstones, I been looking for a while and I'm glad I found yours. Buying them is just to much money for us at least, especially when they start getting a little bigger. You guys help us a lot, you have no idea how much. If I was going to do or have tombstones in my yard I wanted them to look pretty good. Your tombstone are awesome, one of the best I seen anywhere. The rest is just behond awesome. I just hope one day my yard can come close to look like yours. On top of that, your donation requirement is a can of food and thats just so amazing and sweet of you guys. You guys should be very proud of yourselves and all your work and consideration. Good luck and happy Halloween!!!

chicago, il USA - Tuesday, October 05, 2004 at 12:24:14 (CDT)Love what you have being doing over the years. What you are doing now to ensure fun on Halloween Night is something that I do. I will be doing it again for the first time in many years. I was living out in the country for the last 6 years and not many to come down a dirt road on a circle drive to trick or treat. I have since moved back into the city into a corner house on a fairly busy intersection. I have started adding to my collection of displays for I am looking forward to hopefully make some little ghost and goblins Halloween Night be having a display a various things in my front yard. They may not be to the extent that you have but it is a start considering that I am starting at the beginning again. Keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing this year's pictures. Take care and God Bless.

WYANDOTTE, MI USA - Tuesday, July 20, 2004 at 15:43:37 (CDT)Great site. It is encouraging to see some diehard halloween people with very classic theme's and much creativity. I had done a haunted front yard for about 10 years when I was at my parents old house. It was extremely fun and scared the crap out of everyone and we covered about 4 houses up and down to add to the fear of entering the street. I actually found this site looking for Village ideas since I am only about two years into the halloween village thing. I am rechanneling all of my Halloween creativity to that now days. Your village is the best I have seen. Excellent layout and I thought my Dracula castle looked pretty original and cool until I witnessed your masterpiece. Great use of lighting and landscaping. They have some really cool new ones this year with Frankenstein, Werewolf, Horse drawn hearse, and a haunted castle. Looks like I am going to be broke again ;). But honestly I had to say something and maybe you can give me some tips on your landscaping. Not that you really need any advice from me but if you are not extremely die hard in your whole village and accessories has to be dept 56. There are some gaming products that look pretty original and amazing with the deapartment 56 products and hole the scale very accurately. www.pegasushobbies.com/gm_main.htm has some great monuments that worked very well with my cemetary. Some of the housing is too small for scale though so avoid those. The skelaton monument is not pictured but I think they are the best ones. They are a skelaton statue in armour with a pike and have shields with a vampire skull on them. I used those stautes to mark the entrance to Dracula's castle. I will have a lot more room for the village this season so I am keeping my eye out. Keep up the great work!!

Lake Alfred, FL USA - Thursday, September 18, 2003 at 07:17:04 (CDT)Great site. Looks like you've done a lot of hard and passionate work. LA county is getting so you can do close to a months worth of creepy crawls now but most of the home made haunts are during the last weekend. I was in metal/Punk band in the 80's called Haunted Garage and we tried to make every show like a horror movie spook house. A little like Gwar.

lincoln park, mi USA - Sunday, August 10, 2003 at 16:53:17 (CDT)so far, so good.....we are new at "scaring the wits" out of
out neighbors and community. we started by doing a "safe walk" for the middleburg community, largely rural with no place for the kids to go. donations of candy were from the local winn dixie, a mobile home dealer offered the use of the sales lot and model homes as "haunted houses" for the kids to visit. local business persons had "volunteers" to
decorate the model homes, dress in costumes and greet the kids. the end result was that the kids enjoyed a "neighborhood" treat or treat visit, the local businesses were able to get in a little advertising (posters were set up notifying who was in charge of that particular haunted house) and the mobile home dealer really got in good time with tv coverage and over 4500 people visting the haunted houses. we had the house in the rear with the haunted house and maze. our employees "volunteered" to haunt the maze and family members helped construct and decorate the
maze and haunted house. a good time was had by all and we
look forward to doing this again this year.
